The CIS Excellence Awards ceremony will take place on the evening of Thursday 27th May 2010 at the Hilton Glasgow. The black-tie dinner is well-known in the calendar, and presents an ideal opportunity to network with fellow industry leaders and to entertain your colleagues, friends and associates in style. Ticket price includes champagne drinks reception, entertainment, wine and an unrivalled four-course meal prepared by Glasgow Hilton's Executive Chef, James Murphy, and members of the Federation of Chefs Scotland.

Places at the CIS Excellence Awards are available on a strictly first-come-first-served basis and numbers are limited, so to avoid disappointment it is advisable to reserve your tickets and tables as soon as possible in advance of the ceremony.

Individual tickets are £85 +VAT (£99.88) and tables of 10 are £815 + VAT (£957.63). Discounts are available on two or more tables.

Simon Evans Confimed to Appear at the CIS Excellence Awards 2010!

A veteran of sell-out shows in Canada, the USA, New Zealand, South Africa and Edinburgh, Simon excels in routines that are ‘adult in the best sense of the word.’ In high demand as a comedy writer, Simon (‘Old No Eyes,’ to his friends) has collaborated with many other comedians including Dara O’Briain, Sean Lock, Jimmy Carr and Marcus Brigstocke, and has written for several television shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats, The Big Breakfast, Lily Savage, Argumental and Would I Lie to You? He is a stalwart of BBC Radio 4 comedy, having appeared in several series of The News Quiz, The Unbelievable Truth and Armando Ianucci’s Charm Offensive. In 2005, Simon was honoured as one of only three British comics invited to perform at the prestigious Aspen Comedy Festival, alongside Stewart Lee and Eddie Izzard. Currently supporting Lee Mack on his nationwide tour, Simon returns this summer to the Edinburgh Festival and will be performing his brand-new show Fringe Magnet from 4th-30th August.
