Welcome to the CIS Excellence Awards online. Here you can find out more about what the Awards stand for, and you can also browse the categories and criteria, find out more about the sponsoring organisations, and book your places in advance for the dinner on 24th May 2012.

Open to all types of established and emerging businesses and individuals involved in Scotland's catering, hospitality and tourism industries, the awards aim to recognise an individual or company’s personal and business achievements, and their contribution to their industry or profession. From chefs and contract caterers to independent hotels, restaurants, educational institutions and event caterers, there is a category to suit you or your company. And, in addition to the prestige and publicity that comes with collecting a national award, winners will receive a CIS Excellence trophy and will be offered publicity through Catering in Scotland magazine, The Federation of Chefs Scotland and our affiliated websites.

Entries and Nominations  open on 3rd February 2012 and will close on 9th March, so there is plenty of time to decide which categories will suit you or your business. Once these open, you can print off and complete the Nomination Form, which you should then send to JMD Events whose address is located on the Contact page.

The awards ceremony will take place on the evening of Thursday 24th May 2012 at the Hilton Glasgow. The black-tie dinner presents an ideal opportunity to network with fellow industry leaders and to entertain your colleagues, friends and associates in style. Ticket prices include champagne drinks reception and an unrivalled four-course meal with wine, liqueurs, coffee and chocolates, prepared by the Hilton Glasgow's Executive Chef, Joe Queen.
